About the college

How do I register for a course?

Tap Register at the top of the page, fill in your name, phone, email and course, and submit. You will see how much to pay. Once we confirm your payment, we send your class access by WhatsApp or email.

Do I need to be online at a set time?

Mostly no. You can study the lessons on your own schedule, from your phone or computer. If a course includes a live session, we send the date and time after you register, and a recording is available if you miss it.

Can I take more than one course?

Yes. You can register for as many courses as you like. The one-time KES 1,000 registration fee applies to each course.

Fees and payment

How much do the courses cost?

Course fees range from KES 2,500 to KES 8,000, and each fee is shown on its course card. The Certificate in Basic Caregiving package is KES 7,500.

Is there a registration fee?

Yes. There is a one-time registration fee of KES 1,000 for each course. It gives you access to the course. The course fee is paid in addition, and you can pay both together or separately.

How do I pay?

Pay by M-Pesa Paybill: business number 600100, account number 0100016742947. Or pay by bank transfer to Stanbic Bank, account name Gruis Training Institute, account number 0100016742947, Thika branch. Then send us your confirmation message with your full name and course.

Will I get a receipt?

Yes. M-Pesa or your bank sends you a confirmation message as soon as you pay. After we confirm your payment, we send you a Gruis receipt for both the registration fee and the course fee, by WhatsApp or email.

How do I receive my certificate?

Once you finish the coursework and pass the final assessment, we email your Gruis Training Institute Certificate of Completion to you as a PDF. It carries your name, course, date of completion, a unique certificate number and a barcode.

Is the certificate government-accredited?

No. It is a Gruis Training Institute Certificate of Completion. It shows what you completed with us, and it is not a government-accredited qualification.

Can an employer check my certificate?

Yes. Every certificate has a unique number and a barcode. An employer can email gruis.edu@gmail.com or call or WhatsApp +1 (213) 337-8634 with that number and we will confirm it.
